Lactuca Sativa

Market garden quality. Sylvesta is resistant to greenfly and partially to false mildew. Quickly forms an attractive head. The cultivation period is very long, from early spring to late autumn. Can be grown in a greenhouse (ventilate during warm weather) and can be sown directly in the garden as of mid March. Keep seeds cool in the summer. Thin out liberally and keep sufficiently moist during warm weather. Runs to seed slowly and does not easily get marginal blight. Lettuce can already be sown at low temperatures (> 10ºC).
